Zz Top working on a new album long-awaited

ZZ Top in full production on a new album, this time long-awaited follow-up to 2003's "Mescalero," guitarist Billy Gibbons, which will be out after predicting at the end of this year.

The Texas trio in Houston and Los Angeles both from my home studio working on the set, Gibbons tells Billboard.com.

Gibbons notes that he, bassist Dusty Hill and drummer Frank Beard are "still just making a lot of loud noise. We still pose as interpreters of the blues. We can't invent it; It's already been invented. But we can do it our way."

Gibbons said that Basically the original album, but that this group will be composed of, "might cover a couple of things."

According to Gibbons that ZZ Top tribute album is also on the way, with Foo Fighters, Nickelback and Kid Rock taking part, according to Gibbons.

A representative from Universal South, says that storage is also being recorded, nor title, release date or place set up with the track list yet compiled.

ZZ Top, the rebels and the Bandoleros road tour with Lynyrd Skynyrd for the Wichita, Kansas on May 12 starts, and three weeks in the 11 history plays.
